HorseIsland Horse Island is completely developed! The four basic requirements for an island, namely pier, drinking water, electricity and housing are already fulfilled. On most islands in this world, even the beautiful ones, there is still - well, nothing! Therefore, you are spared a strenuous "pioneering period" and you can begin right away to enjoy all of the positive aspects that Horse Island offers. The visitors on Horse Island will find everything for the island-life that they need and much more: White beaches and picturesque bays, fishing spots, tennis court, barbeque places and a video shop, a gym with sun beds, massage waterfall, a helicopter landing base and lots of peace and quiet and relaxation.

PierThe huge pier, constructed of massive concrete (not hollow-bodied), is itself some 150 feet long, 12 feet wide and over 18 feet deep to the ocean floor. The pier also has a slip around 50 feet long and over 10 feet wide, all of which is lit at night. The pier has been approved by the marine authorities and its construction today would cost some 500.000 €.

Two perkins generators run around the clock discreetly in a generator house and supply 64 KVA. 220 and 380 volt electricity is available to the island. Both generators take turns in supply power, and are rarely running at their peak. A professional-quality tennis court is also located on the island and not quite 3 miles away from the island, mention must surely be made of the 9-hole Cosheen golf course. if you are a golfer. - Do you know any other island offering all of that?

The water on Horse Island emanates from a depth of some 250 feet, pumped into a concrete silo to the island's highest point (145 f.) from where it builds up water pressure like you're accustomed to in the big city and it's in mineral water quality!
